Management changes at Dansk Plast A/S
Off to a good start in 2022
Dansk Plast A/S looks forward to an exciting future. The order book is already brimming with many major projects. Projects that will divided between our own production in Esbjerg, across Denmark and, not least of all, abroad.
In order to accommodate future growth and bolster competencies and the continued development of Dansk Plast A/S, we have decided to change our organisation.
New man at the helm
Klaus Sørensen is therefore passing the role of Managing Director/ CEO to Ole Kristensen as of 1 March, in order to focus on product and business development
From now on, Ole Kristensen will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of Dansk Plast A/S.
Klaus will remain the sole owner of Dansk Plast A/S.
All this is being done after long consideration, and in close consultation with Dansk Plast’s Board.
Development, projects and production
Klaus will henceforth use his resources and skills where he finds things really exciting - in development. Not only development of customers’ specific requests, but also development of Dansk Plast's own products.
Alongside these changes in management, Kim Lauridsen has expressed the desire to move from the role of works manager to a position as supervisor/project manager. Over the summer, Kim will act as supervisor on projects abroad, before joining the project team in the office.
After a short search, we have signed a contract with Claus Kikkenborg, who will take over the job of works manager for production on 1 April. We are sure that Claus will bring abundant new expertise to Dansk Plast A/S, enhancing our quality and productivity.
The Future
These initiatives are launched in order to maintain our high level of activity, and to consolidate the role of Dansk Plast in the development of sustainable plastic products and solutions.
